People Manager Amsterdam

The ideal candidate should be able to commit to this mission, is already passionate about HR and has a track record in attracting and developing talent. This person will be managing the hiring process and on-boarding of new employees.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment process, work alongside hiring managers and executive team on the end to end process of hiring new talent;
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues;
- Manage all HR Ops including but not limited to; payroll, pension & sickness management, on/offboarding, performance management cycle, compensation reviews, engagement survey;
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital;
- Develop, implement and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, initiatives and procedures across the organization in alignment with the overall business strategy;
- Nurture a positive working environment;
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance;
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs;
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics;
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive;
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics;
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases;
- Ability to draft strategy, leadership skills, people orientation and results driven;
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company;
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices;
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
